Case Study: Chiropractic treatment for children with ADHD

February 13th, 2007

Evidence is emerging that chiropractic treatment can help children with ADHD. This interesting case study* focuses on an 8 year old with learning and behavioral problems that emerged after fall that occurred 18 months prior. The use of SOT blocking and cervical adjustments resulted in positive changes in behavior and improvement in academic performance. Adjusting subluxation appeared to reduce the child’s pain and discomfort which allowed him to concentrate, learn and sit still.
